I originally came to Gina with probably 100
questions on what breed of bird she thought would fit my lifestyle and
wants the best. Without talk of even purchasing a bird from her she gladly
answered all my questions and helped me narrow my search down to 2 breeds.
I wound up
deciding to purchase a Sun Conure and it just so happened she had the
perfect baby just for me! Another hundred questions later, again Gina glad
to help… I took the drive down to go get my Boo. From when I first met
him, he was the sweetest little bird. He came right to my mom and me even
with Gina right there! You can just tell her birds are VERY well
socialized and cared for. Gina sat and talked with us for probably a good
45 minutes before we left… you can really tell she cares about her birds
and the homes they go to. I even received a follow up e-mail the next day
asking how everything was going. Even my vet commented on how well he
looked no stress marks and a perfect diet! It’s been about 2 weeks now and
Boo has already become my best friend. After only 3 days in his new home
he was dying to come out and play with me. He really is a sweet, happy =)
bird who LOVES to cuddle! I am beyond happy with my purchase from Gina and
would recommend her birds to anyone!
Thanks again for such a great bird and all the great help & advice you
have given me!~Melissa

It’s been 2 years now since we found Gina on the internet. We were looking
for an African Grey, and she happens to have a few for us to check out. So
we made the trip to southern New Jersey, to see for ourselves. I was a
little nervous at first. Traveling all that distance, when there were bird
stores near where we were living. BUT!!!!!, Am I glad we made that trip.
Gina is a breeder you dream of finding. She is extremely knowledgeable,
caring, and most of all, she takes her time with you. You can feel her
compassion for her birds. This is not a "Bird Mill" like some other
breeders, or stores. Its a home, where Gina handraises her baby birds with
tons of love.
When
we first saw her Greys, there were three birds to choose from. One in
particular chose us. "Maggie" (our grey) came right over to me, and sat on
my forearm the whole time we talked to Gina. It was love at first sight
for my wife and I. Maggie had no fear of us, and showed lots of interest
in what we were doing. And did not mind us stroking her back or chest.
Talk about a well-adjusted bird. Needless to say we adopted her. All this
in a typical home setting, with all the typical home noise, and
distractions going on. After we left, Gina sent us weekly updates and
photos on the progress of our new baby. On the day that we finally got to
take Maggie home, Gina sent us home with a complete "Taking Baby Home "
guide, to get us off to a good start. She told us, not to expect our new
Grey to start talking until she was about a year old. Maggie was talking
at eight months, and hasn't stopped yet. Now she is learning Italian.
During our first year with Maggie, I called Gina many times with
questions. And she was always there for us. Again taking her time on the
phone, answering all my questions, and putting us at ease. When my wife
and I decided to get a pair of Solomon Island Eclectus. It was a no brainer. We went back to Gina's Parrot Place. And once again, Gina showed
us a male, and female Eclectus, that were well adjusted, friendly, loving,
and absolutely gorgeous in coloring. All of our birds are complete joys to
have, listen to, and interact with. Gina's Parrot Place is the ONLY place
you should be considering if you are in the market for a companion bird.
Thank you again Gina

After careful
research, my husband and I decided on an Eclectus to add to our family,
and after even more research decided on Gina as our breeder. Gina is
absolutely wonderful and I can't say enough about her as a person and
breeder of not only all her birds but especially of my
Alfie, our male S.I. Eclectus. Gina gave us a picture and update on how
Alfie was doing each week and boy, I can't tell you how excited we were
each week waiting to get our updates. I was able to ask any question and
get an answer very quickly and we even went to visit with our Alfie before
he came home. Alfie is a great, socialized, confident, sweet, lovable,
handsome, wonderful, great with my dogs and daughter and did I mention
just an all around well behaved and boy. It's been almost a year since his
hatch date and if I have a questions to this day, Gina is back to me with
an answer as soon as possible. I would highly recommend Gina to anyone
thinking about or interested in getting a bird.
Thank you again for giving us such a handsome and wonderful Alfie, we
love him so much!!

We decided to purchase a Sun Conure and did lots of research. After all
that we read, we wanted to avoid Pet Shops and start looking for a
"abundance weaned" baby. Then we found Gina's website. After our initial
talk, we knew this was where we wanted to get our new baby.
We
picked out a beautiful little sun conure and he was still being weaned.
Gina sent us weekly photos and written updates, and we really felt as if
we knew Kiwi (our conure's name) before he ever came home.
He is the most lovable little bird anyone could ever want! He's not a
biter, and much rather snuggle. He became well adjusted so quickly. I
think it's because of the environment he was born into. We have kids and
two dogs, and he is not at all nervous. He is so well behaved and such a
great addition to our family.
If you are thinking of getting a bird, this is the way to go. Gina was
also very happy to answer questions after we got home, and really wants to
know how her babies are.
Thanks, Gina! |

I made a decision that I wanted to add to my "feathered family". I
already had two Love Birds and a Sun Conure. I did a lot of research... I
visited area stores, read about different breeds and searched the
internet. I chose to look for an Eclectus. Specifically a female. I found
several males, but hadn't located a female. Some people tried to deter me
from the females saying that the males were better "talkers"
and usually had a better disposition. The beauty of the female continued
to lure me. I "googled" breeders in New Jersey (I don't believe in
shipping birds!) and found Gina's web-site. I emailed her and knew
immediately from her reply that I had found an exceptional individual. She
didn't have one available at the time, but allowed me to put down a
deposit. From the time that my baby hatched, Gina provided weekly emails
with pictures updating my on her progress. This was so appreciated and a
lot of fun for my children to watch her development.
Having previously purchased a bird from a store, the difference was
amazing. My Eclectus, Leeloo, was gentle, social and used to a busy
household. She was a little shy at first, however her transition to our
home was no problem at all. She is now 7 months old and already saying
"hello".
The birds that Gina breeds are her babies. They are raised with love
and care. She has endless knowledge and never tires of questions and
emails. She wants you to be comfortable with your baby and will continue
to provide advice and guidance after your bird is with you. I will never
buy from a store again, and I would definitely look to Gina first!
